Remit: in the context of BlackRock’s mandate from the Central Bank of Ireland covering the entire Irish bank system following the Global Financial Crisis, to forensically analyse the two leading banks’ corporate asset portfolios to determine whether assets had been correctly risk-rated. To deliver, I: • Assessed the quality of corporate and structured loans using qualitative & quantitative analysis • Determined implied credit ratings for, and made projections of likely losses on, loan transactions

ContourGlobal is a NY-based energy investment, development & operations company, backed by private equity firm Reservoir Capital Group, which focused on: (a) investments in high-growth and/or under-served countries; and (b) innovative energy applications in developed markets. My remit was to lead commercial development / closing of carbon-friendly power and energy investments / M&A – including negotiation of full suite of project / funding contracts, and procurement of capital equipment

Remit: to lead a team supporting the origination of advisory and structured loan mandates / underwritings: • Partnered project finance sector originators in structuring transactions to meet client aspirations • Assessed underwrite levels; advised on pricing of infrastructure deals (incl. hybrid and power / energy) • Transferred knowledge to and promoted the development of junior team members
