Projects for seismic retrofitting of various buildings in and around Istanbul

Participated in the Ankara-Kirikkale 2x2 highway rehabilitation project. Developed designs for rehabilitation of the 100 km Ankara-Samsun section and obtained approval of the client General Directorate for State Highways.

Seismic retrofitting of the Yapi Kredi Bank Training Centre at Bayramoglu Gebze – Assessed condition of the existing building, prepared retrofitting design, work plan & budget won client approval and completed retrofitting which resulted in the building surviving an earthquake a year later saving hundreds of lives.

• Managed the technical support desk dealing with various construction chemicals & concrete additives.
