I worked here on a full time basis as a placement year for LJMU, in the sale of PPE and work wear. I dealt with current customers and attracting new customers. The role involved cold calling new companies to gain new relationships and sales, which meant I needed to have in-depth knowledge of the products & services I was selling. Plus I had to handle large accounts and work with invoicing and sales software on a daily basis to maintain a good working relationship with customers, both existing & potential.
