I developed machine learning pipelines to analyze environmental data and mined SQL toxicity and structural databases to train supervising classifiers for toxicity prediction. I also led and managed an international ML project with a team from different disciplines. I taught and supervised BSc and MSc data and computer science students from ETH Zurich and biogeochemistry Ph.D. students from Eawag.

I organized and taught the Master's course 'Analysis of Organic Pollutants' at USYS. This involved detailed planning of the course schedule, preparing and delivering lectures, and creating comprehensive documentation to support the student's learning process. My duties extended to designing course materials, coordinating with other faculty members, and ensuring that the course content remained current and relevant.
I utilized high-resolution mass spectrometry and a broad spectrum of other analytical techniques to characterize complex conversion mixtures. I worked hands-on on the biphasic conversion of lignin into high-value chemicals and biofuels, a process pivotal to advancing sustainable chemical production. Additionally, I used ML techniques such as regression and clustering for yield prediction and process optimization.

In collaboration with Shark Holdings Geothermal A/S, I used MATLAB to Simulate and Analyze the behavior of CO2 in supercritical geothermal CO2 loops using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) modeling. This work optimized energy extraction processes and improved system efficiency.
