In May 2010 I was asked to work in the Institute of Psychosocial Medicine in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin a couple of days a week. Here I treat people with different kinds of psychiatric disorders, mostly psychotherapuetically, but sometimes, when needed under support of medication.

I work as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist in Clane Hospital in Co Kildare, where I have my private practice. I treat psychiatric and psychological disorders; schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, bipolar disorders and personality disorders. At present I am doing a diploma course in treating eating disorders. I will have my diploma in December 2010. I treat my patients mostly with psychotherapy, but if required also with psychotropical drugs as support.

Consultant Psychiatrist, Medical Director and CEO Edit Dawn Centre Mental Health Care industry October 2010 – Present Dawn Centre is a new centre for treating eating disorders. I am treating clients on a one-to-one basis and am giving two evening groups mondays and wednesday 6-8pm. Since January 2011 we are also open for an intensive out-patient program Monday-Friday 9-5 pm, offering CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Art-Psychotherapy, Drama-Psychotherapy and of course Nutritional Therapy and Educa

I took different locum jobs for a while to get to know the Irish health system. In May until December I was working in St Ita's Hospital in Portrane, treating adults with intellectual disabilities and a second psychiatric diagnosis. Before that I worked as a consultant in the adult Psychiatry in St Brigid's.
