Dr. Kathryn Machray

I am a researcher with expertise in public health and social research. I have a strong track record in conventional and more novel, qualitative methods, along with competent quantitative analysis skills. In 2016 I was awarded the Elizabeth Russell Prize for research, showcasing my ability to undertake and produce high quality research. I value the benefits of incorporating different areas of knowledge to solve a problem and I'm a strong advocate for applied research. I am confident that my educational background and professional experience make me a great candidate for an organisation looking for a dedicated research professional. I am eager to use my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact as I am passionate about social justice and health inequalities. Much of my research to date has focused around food insecurity and other issues associated with insufficient income and I am keen to pursue a career which has positive social impact.
