An experienced senior systems engineer, DBA and data center engineer with more than 13 years of experience in the field. Currently leading the data center team in Suez Canal Authority which is a cross functional team responsible for all aspects of the Suez Canal Authority data center starting from the bare metal blades, private cloud management systems all the way up to ensuring the services high availability and reliability. This unique opportunity allowed me to get trained on and combine a diverse set of skills and technologies that our data center leverages (e.g. data center planning, Linux systems engineering, private cloud management using Vmware, storage and replication, user management, services implementation, Oracle Database administration, support and troubleshooting).

We are hosting mission critical systems that keep the daily operations of the Suez Canal which are hosted on a private cloud where a set of heterogeneous systems are hosted. My team is a hands-on team that’s responsible for the full change life-cycle, from requirements and planning to implementation, supporting and troubleshooting.
