• I teach Business English and General English to students at all language levels (A1-C1).

In this role I supported students with disabilities with a range of academic tasks: • Editing and proofreading theses • Research and referencing assistance • Note-taking in lectures and seminars • Typing lecture transcripts • Writing via dictation • Operating audio recording equipment for deaf students • Providing behavioural support for students with Asperger’s Syndrome, and • Invigilating and scribing for exams.

Provided weekly tutorials and academic support for first-year students. Subjects tutored were: • Power: a first year subject for philosophy and political and social science students • Sociology: Understanding Society • Law in Society: a first year social science elective • Philosophy: The Great Thinkers: a first-year philosophy elective

• Conducted qualitative and quantitative interviews about the perception of public park maintenance across Melbourne and regional Victoria during the summer months.

• Facilitated a weekly seminar on a range of topics associated with critical thinking for students preparing for university •Marked student assignments and assigned final grades

• Designed the Foundation Extended English curriculum for International students • Taught classes of Academic English and Critical Thinking and Reasoning • Liaised with students at risk of failing in order to help them improve their results • Facilitated teachers’ team meetings • Taught and assessed students in the Access English programme • Participated in the moderation of student assignments
