Loopo is a social network for Chinese international students and college applicants. As a technical co-founder I maintain both the back-end and front-end code and deployment scripts. I built the website with Python and Django. I also have to collaborate with business co-founders, web designers and other developers, translating business requirements into actionable tasks and subtasks, and negotiating priorities.

Maintained a Django based website to support internal data collection. Worked on a ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) process to migrate data from a normalized collection system to a denormalized datawarehouse system. Worked on PHP web development for 2 years, XML processing, SOAP web services. Worked on Informix database internals for 1.5 year, maintain OSI network stack at application and transport layer, maintain various database utilities. Worked on Netezza data warehouse technologies Presented at the International Informix User Group Conference 2009. Facilitated scrum meetings in agile development teams. Authored 3 articles on the IDS Experts Blog
