My research activity is mainly focused on applied Computational fluid Dynamics (CFD), turbulence modeling and heat transfer in liquid metal flows, using RANS, LES and DNS techniques. Besides I also do experimental investigations on liquid metals.

My research activity is mainly focused on single and multiphase Computational fluid Dynamics (CFD), turbulence modeling and heat transfer in general. I also collaborate in the development of an in-house code for Direct Numerical Simulation of turbulent flows in channels, pipes and annuli. I use CFD to analyze both technically relevant cases for the industry as well as to gain a deeper understanding of base-physical problems.
