    Gaugit - Advanced Instrumentations and Solutions

    Gaugit is a Brazilian startup in Positron Emission Tomography solutions. I defined and designed their hardware, a 16-channel FPGA-based Digitizer, to capture and associate coinciding events. In less than 8 months I conducted them from rudimentary drafts to the debugged hardware prototype, the very first Brazilian Digitizer.

    ALLBRAX is a Public Administration software house. They needed an innovative multimedia terminal for the Brazilian Legislative Assemblies. I was responsible for the hardware concept and creation, the suppliers development, creating a Linux distribution and writing drivers to support the company’s application software.

    Firmware development for deeply embedded systems using ARM microcontrollers, in a very complex, in-house developed, time-triggered architecture (+800.000 lines of code). - Bare metal system development. - Embedded webservice for remote data acquisition. - Aspect-oriented programming in ANSI C. - Hardware: revision of power supplies and assembly-line feedback. - Documentation: User Manuals revision.

    ULTRASOUND LABORATORY AT UNIVERSITY OF SÃO PAULO

    Hardware design for an 8-channel acquisition module for ultrasound imaging system using the open-source tool KiCad EDA. My task inside the laboratory was to design the printed circuit board, that comprised the circuit schematics and layout of: • 5 switching power-supplies with very low noise operation. • 8 analog channels, each with 55 dB gain, 12 bits @ 80 MSPS. • Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGA, four DDR3 memory chips, PCI Express bus.

    CENTRO TECNOLOGICO DA MARINHA EM SÃO PAULO - CTMSP – BRAZILIAN NAVY

    I worked in a university group whose task was to create a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for the Brazilian Navy's Nuclear Power Plant using the commercial software General Electric iFix, validating it with MATLAB Simulink. We revised hundreds of Engineering Diagrams and created all the control tags inside the simulation database, while integrating both software to simulate the nuclear plant’s control system.
