Über mich
I am an EDI Specialist who has been fortunate enough to work in a great variety of industries including computer manufacturing and distribution as well as for one computer reseller, giving me the customer side perspective to the interfaces. I have worked at Worldwide, European HQ and local subsidiary (UK) levels, giving me a very good understanding of business from all perspectives. It is the varied nature of EDI roles that I enjoy most about what I do, and the continual learning of the business processes and data needed for the different internal and external partners and interfaces. Each role has needed a good mixture of skills including technical knowledge for the EDI standards and message formats, good communication skills for the interaction with business teams and external partners, project management skills for the planning of migrations and partner involvement fitting into general ERP migrations and Business Analysis and Requirements gathering skills.
