Intern/Student
Biocode
Participating in an online course “Singel Cell RNA Sequencing Data Analysis Using Commend Line and R”.
Project 1: Streamlined exploratory data analysis (EDA) procedures. Responsibilities included creating insightful visualizations. Project 2: Developed customer demos, involving EDA setup, supervised modeling, and integration into an Azure pipeline using Azure ML tools. Project 3: Led as the main data scientist for predicting product properties. Collaborated closely with customers to grasp the business problem, conducted thorough EDA, and applied supervised and clustering models within the Azure ML framework.
Participated in an intensive data science course (E-Learning) to boost my knowledge and expertise in Data science. • Data Analysis & ML with Python • Deep dive supervised learning: Data Gathering, Logistic Regression; Decision Trees and Random Forests; Support Vector Machines; Neural Networks. • Advanced Topics in Data Science: Visualization and Model Interpretation. • Completed more than 20 projects in a wide range of domains: Banking & finance, trading, and NLP.

Research Scientist
Max Perutz Laboratories
Studied the Transcriptome-wide effects of retrotransposons on gene expression, using a wide range of cell types and techniques. • Demonstrated the inverted Alu elements in 3UTRs could decrease the mRNA level in harboring genes. • Investigated a novel mechanism by which inverted Alu can impact on gene expression by interfering with RNA polymerase II activity. • Mentored and trained three Bachelor students. • The result of the study has been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Research Assistant
University of Isfahan
At Isfahan University, I studied two STR markers, D6S2806 and D6S22879, located in HLA-DRB1 gene region. We aimed to identify and characterize proper markers for Linkage Analysis in Multiple Sclerosis patients. Therefore, I analyzed STR markers in 85 individuals using PAGE and sequencing methods. Our data showed the D6S2806 locus can be used as promising marker for linkage analysis and disease‐susceptibility investigations in the HLA‐DRB1 gene region.
