Über mich
I hold a Bachelor and Master degree in Civil Engineering, and obtained a Doctoral degree in Transport Systems through the MIT Portugal program. Within the Doctoral program I was awarded a full PhD scholarship by FCT and spent 7 months in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as part of my curriculum. I have several years of research experience developing analytics and models using optimization, econometrics and simulation. I have been managing and supporting R&D projects within both public and private funded projects. These projects focus on big data, statistics and modelling on the topic of urban mobility, new mobility forms (e.g. micromobility), new mobility services (e.g. MaaS), and Public transportation. My interests lie on the understanding of behavior and performance of systems through data analysis and statistical inference.
