Marco Jaeger is one of the leaders of the Integration Advisory practice in Toronto, specializing in leading the integration of acquisitions, mergers and carve-outs. He has a track record of leading business transformations to value, by improving the financial performance, mitigating enterprise risks and by providing overall project management and change management leadership to clients on their path to the desired end-state.

Led Maple Leaf Foods’ $400M New Build project – the center piece of Maple Leaf Foods’ Value Creation Plan and the largest investment ever in the Canadian food processing industry - from concept, through design to capital expenditure and board approval by providing cross-functional Project and Change Management Leadership as well as fact-based decision-making support.

As the Head of Finance for Canada, reporting directly to the President and CEO for operations with annual sales in excess of C$215 million, the responsibilities were to provide financial leadership in order to ensure strong cash flows, country compliance and continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance with a dotted line to the Group Treasurer, the purpose of the role was to oversee treasury services and enterprise risk management for Kerry Americas' operations with responsibility for finance charges and premiums of US $100m.

The responsibilities encompassed the preparation and consolidation of the divisional monthly and statutory accounts and the preparation of the monthly accounts pack.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Services / Health Care, the responsibilities ranged from conducting a benchmarking survey of radio-oncology institutions (OncoVision), various research activities and client presentations, to facilitating post-merger integration workshops in financial institutions.
