UAT analyst in Financial Crime Prevention. Sole tester on project to deliver reports to identify records that were not screened. Tested delivery of management information reports and other Change Requests for screening and risk projects. Completed all tasks on projects independently from test approach and plan to test completion reports. Created data for screening application Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (OEDQ) using UNIX WinSCP and ran scripts using PuTTY. Worked with users around the globe for UAT.

Worked on the project to replace the charging and tracking applications, reviewed requirements, business rules and design and scripted test cases. Tested replacement of marketing tags on all the websites with Tealium. Tested changes to interfaces for all parcels to reduce the file sizes being passed.

UAT Analyst on Central UAT team for the data migration project, dealing with the sale of RBS and NatWest branches. Involved with coordinating test coverage over numerous test streams to avoid duplication of testing and to ensure all requirements tested. Created and maintained traceability matrices. Provided support to UAT teams and led migration of Test Director to Quality Center.

Part of UAT team on Enhanced Data Capture project which replaced manual forms in branches with an intranet-based application. Responsible for test prep, execution, raising and tracking faults. Worked closely with onshore and offshore developers to drive fault resolution. Captured XML logs for printing faults. Met all deadlines in plan. Mentored and coached other testers. Acted as a vital support for UAT testers working in Ulster. Travelled to Belfast to oversee the production proving test phases.

Worked on project to migrate Zurich Connect Finacle to 3rd party Galactica web application supplied by Tactica Premium Finance Ltd. The application managed loan agreements in respect of home and motor insurance. Test preparation, execution and fault logging. Worked with developers and 3rd party company to resolve issues. Prepared xml files to amend BACS mandates or to return direct debits unpaid in test. Tested letters generated from Skywire. Created data using SOAP and ran end of day batches.

Employed by Pantheon Ventures Limited, a private equity fund investment management company, as the senior user acceptance tester. Worked on a project to migrate the current and historic data from an in-house fund management application, PIMMs, to a 3rd party application, Equitrak. Checked the information held on the PIMMs database to ensure that it was accurate and then tested that when migrated it displayed correctly in Equitrak. Reported issues and provided progress reports to the management.

Tested a new VAC structure in the Quasar application for trades,portfolios & funds.Prepared & executed test scripts to upgrade Quasar to rhymeSIGHT.Tested changes to the enquiry functionality & regression tested dealing,security & fund maintenance.Seconded to the Capital Gains Tax project to validate testing.Prepared test deliverables from requirements & functional spec for a single sign-on application.Prepared and executed test scripts for a FSA change to add sort codes to the PBC application.

Sole tester employed to conduct system and UAT testing on a bespoke life assurance and savings sales platform developed by a 3rd party company. Although this was a short term contract the company itself did not have an IT department so I was responsible for all of the test preparation, test execution, fault logging, reviewing the application documentation, liaising with the 3rd party developer to resolve issues and faults and feeding back progress to the business managers.

Lead tester involved from the requirements meetings stage to test preparation for an automated cash handling machine linked to the Teller application.Completed the Black Box GUI testing and some technical testing. Senior Tester on project to deliver Teller,Sale of Travel & Mortgage applications to Ulster banks within RBS and migrate the applications from NT to XP.Tested an Internet Browser application for account opening,linked to Experian & Equifax.Lead tester on initial Offset Mortgage project.

Tested changes to existing UK applications for rollout to HFC branches in Eire.Scripted & executed UAT test cases on the Bank’s personal loan and cashiering applications.The Personal Loan application involved credit scoring links to Experian and Equifax.Trained and mentored HFC branch staff to script and execute UAT test cases. Delivered project within tight timescales.Seconded to 2 other projects for short periods for my scripting skills, my scripts were then used as examples for other testers.

Returned to RBS (formally NatWest) on a contract basis after management for whom I had previously worked pro-actively sought for me to return. Worked on the initial migration stages for software between RBS and NatWest. System tester in the team responsible for testing the Bank’s automated cashiering application, which was the lead product to be migrated. Delivered first release in tight timescales with no known faults in the live environment. Deputy team leader.
