Dr. Masoumeh Hezarjaribi

Masoumeh Hezarjaribi’s research work centers on both environment and energy areas. The first one focuses on the wastewater treatment by adsorptive ultrafiltration (UF) membranes which integrate membrane separation and adsorption methods. More specifically, she has worked extensively with electrospun nanofiber membranes (ENMs) containing metal oxides, carbonaceous and bio adsorbents for removal of heavy metals, rare earth elements (REEs) as well as phosphate and nitrate. Fabrication and modification of the gas diffusion electrode (GDE) of the PEM fuel cell with hybrid technique via electrospinning is her other main interest.
