Über mich
I am a passionate biologist with strong academic and research background in sensory behavioral ecology, animal genetics and evolution. Currently, I am seeking a job in which I can contribute in the generation, study and analysis of biological and physiological data, and produce information that can be useful for the society and for environmental health. In my PhD research, I used molecular, genetic and electrophysiological (neurophysiology) techniques to study the expression, function and evolution of the diverse and rapidly evolving chemosensory receptor genes, primarily focusing on insect odorant receptors (ORs) of the tobacco hawkmoth Manduca sexta.
