Michael Bryan

Lecturer of law (Juridisches Fakultät). I lecture in Anglo-American common law, and business and securities law. I also advise students regarding international LLM preparation and selection. My research area is common law liberty and individual rights.

I practiced M&A, competition, finance and dispute resolution as part of a multi-national legal team. As a part of a number of deal teams, I performed and coordinated competition, GDPR and M&A due diligence projects, including contract review, corporate restructuring, and asset acquisitions and refinancing. My dispute resolution teams included public international law issues regarding resource concessions and settlement of sovereign wealth disputes.

As a corporate generalist I advised businesses in complex domestic and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, antitrust-competition prereview, trade regulation and financing. Collaborated with stakeholders to ensure that projects are complete and correct. I researched and drafted documents and memoranda on many client matters.

Corporate associate. I provided comprehensive corporate legal services to companies in a variety of industries. I designed effective internal corporate and regulatory compliance infrastructures, and negotiated deals related to capital purchases, intellectual property licensing, securities and currency regulations.

Doctoral studies in the philosophy of law. This was specialized studies common law, constitutional law, and statutory law of the United States and United Kingdom, international merchant law, and Roman Law (Codex Justinianus).

Graduate program in medieval European philosophy. Formal and symbolic logic, metaphysics, and postmediaeval philosophy. Candidate.
