License Collector is a citywide elected position in St. Louis. The position serves in four year terms and is responsible for collecting almost $60,000,000.00 in revenue from business license fees, manufacturing assessments, amusement tax payments and other sources. Collecting a business license fee from every company or person doing business in the City of St. Louis, assessing all manufacturing companies' taxes, collecting the amusement tax, restaurant gross receipts taxes and several other duties.
