The Hospital Case Manager RN oversees the flow of patients in the hospital and delegates appropriate function to coordinate in patient hospital levels of care for the patient, including admissions, continued stay, and discharge . The Case Manager's primary function is asset management and advocating for patients with the payor to manage the patient's resources accurately and to the benefit of the patient. Also, the Case Manager is a resource liaison for the Hospital and MD staff.
