Received exposure on various tools and architectures in the Big Data paradigm, starting with what lies at the core: Hadoop and its components (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN). Dove into the Hadoop Ecosystem and learned about various tools in each layer of the Data pipeline process, relative to the scenario and requirements. Gained hands-on experience on the following tools: Hive, Sqoop, Nifi, Spark & Airflow.

Award: Dean's List of Honor Final Year Project: Razanlytics provides live bitcoin price forecasting using sentiment analysis based on tweets. Designed a data pipeline for scheduling and processing tasks on real-time tweets with tools like Airflow and Spark. Performed Sentiment extraction using VADER, and price forecasting using Transformers’ multi-variate time series model.
