Master Thesis- Asymmetric Current Control of CHB Grid Tie Inverter

I was responsible for design & development of controller for controlling the 2-level & 17-level inverter. Developed model based software and control scheme using Matlab/Simulink, implemented asymmetric current control algorithm with multi carrier modulation schemes. Integrated the model on the hardware set up & validated simulation results. I was also responsible for testing the inverter (Hardware in the loop) operation under on-grid & off-grid mode, battery evaluation, charging & discharging operations.

Designed Arduino based measurement circuit for recording building temperature and humidity variations according to human interaction and environmental changes. Built wireless sensor communication system using radio communication to transmit the measured variables to base station and continuously measured data points were uploaded to centralized server for data logging. Further analyzed parameter variations using database analysis tools.
