I am a DAAD scholarship holder. We have developed a small and portable sensors´system that measures online and in real-time respiration rate of fresh produces. Same is tested in lab scale experiemnts as well as in commercial apple storage. The aim of this study is to use modern sensor technology to monitor real-time physiology of stored produce and quantifying their real-time respiratory activity and to develop efficient and modular storage boxes for storage of fresh commodifies.
