I'm responsible for mentoring, developing, inspiring, and facilitating development dialogs and career planning for a team of 5 QA Engineers distributed among different projects. Also responsible for hiring new talents, retain and attract people. In charge to define test strategies and tools to deliver products with high-quality standards, acting as a coach for the development team of professional and personal skills advocating for Quality Assurance.

I trained people to work as QA engineer in agile teams. I was responsible for workshops, and training employees. I organized events about agile and automation periodically. I worked to change the process to agile, teaching about agile practices and the responsibilities of QA. I taught people to use Ruby, Capybara, Siteprism, to write test cases using BDD, automating REST API with HTTParty and mobile apps using Ruby with Calabash. I managed the professionals to avoid losing good talents and recognize them.

I worked in the architect of tests team, which aimed to support the product teams, setting patterns, sharing good practices, spreading the quality mindset and sharing technical knowledge. My responsibilities were: automated tests end-to-end, UI with Ruby and Capybara, and API with HTTParty. All of it was using Cucumber to read the BDD. I created and managed CI jobs and pipelines on Jenkins. I used Git for versioning and review code. I created and managed the scripts for performance tests using Jmeter.

I was the one responsible for starting the quality assurance process on the company, share the quality tasks, and consolidate the Agile process. I used to do functionals tests, exploratory tests, integration tests, and usability tests. I taught the stakeholders how to use the system and supported them along unpredicted use cases. I estimated the effort to develop a new feature together with the development team following Scrum Guide.

I defined the patterns for automation. I automated the regression tests checklist. I used Selenium Webdriver, Java, TestNG. I replicated the client's environment on virtual machines to reproduce bugs and to perform acceptance tests. I identified test scenarios from project scope, I created tests plans, I ran manual tests and managed bugs. I tested scripts running it on dummy databases. I gave support to clients and created the software user guide.

I was the lead of the Quality team, being responsible for creating the test process, to do the analysis of test management tools, automation tools and to choose which patterns we would use. Besides that, during the deployment process, I validated if the features were working as they should. I managed the activities with the team members, considering the business and technical priorities. I Identified test scenarios, planned tests, I ran manual tests and managed bugs. We worked using Scrum methodology.

I learned and practiced how to identify scenarios and create test plans with the needed documentation. I learned how to automate tests with Selenium and Java (using the well-known features or creating new javascript's functions), I developed scripts on Pearl, I created ".bat" scripts to schedule activities on Windows. I managed tests running with Hudson. It was my first experience working with Kanban and Scrum.
