Dr. Oliver Schenker

Oliver ist Robert Bosch Juniorprofessor für die Nachhaltige Nutzung natürlicher Ressourcen im Economics Department an der Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Oliver is senior researcher and coordinates the research area "International Environmental and Resource Policies" at ZEW's research department "Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Management". He co-cordinates the large research project ENTRACTE on overlapping and interacting regulations in the field of climate and energy policy and is involved in several research and policy advising projects.

Oliver has been affiliated with two large research endeavours: the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Climate and the NCCR Trade Regulation. He worked on the strategic role of border carbon adjustments policies, examined the geographically heterogeneous impacts of climate change on international trade, and analysed if terms of trade effects may provide an incentive for developed countries to fund adaptation to climate change in developing ones as part of its PhD thesis.
