Software technologies are my passion: solving software problems during programming or administration. The GNU/Linux OS and its ecosystem have fascinated me for many years. As a user of Gentoo Linux (daily for over a decade), I enjoy setting up, fine-tuning, and hardening software installations (including kernel configuration) for both performance and size. As an individual of the ISTJ-A personality type, I am loyal to my team and organization, my strength lies in analytical thinking. I like finding optimal solutions, be it in the technical sense or for human and business participants, and doing the right things for the right reasons. I prefer tackling challenges (and learning new skills along the way) rather than routinely repeating what I already know. I find joy in continuous growth, both as an expert and an individual, as I strive to improve and become a better version of myself.
