In pursuit of a PhD, I developed an efficient method for computational modelling of soft tissue elastomechanics. The method allows for mimicking anisotropies in the modelled tissue and ensuring volume preservation constraints. I implemented the model in C++ and used it to model the myocardium, breast tissue and for 3D elastic image registration.
