Über mich

While studying mechanical engineering I successfully led an aerodynamics team in the Formula Student for several years. CFD simulations were the first push towards scripting and using C++. This provided to me the skillset for my further developments and a thesis at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). After my graduation I dived even deeper into programming, algorithms and numerics while researching on cost reduction for automotive simulations. After this chapter I moved to a robotics department, where the interaction between software and hardware was my daily business. Moving back to „classical“ software development, I used C and Java to bring payment and point of sale (POS) solutions to various (mobile) platforms and operating systems. Currently, I am working as a SAP CAP developer in the cloud native team at CONET.

Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V.

Adaptation of a meshing library (Gmsh API) for usage in a fully automated optimisation loop which also includes automated meshing with Gmsh. The geometries to be meshed originate from an open source parametric aircraft CAD library (TiGL) developped by the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The optimisation targets the precalculation of the aerodynamic loads on an airplane in early design stages. http://www.gmsh.info/ http://www.dlr.de/sc/desktopdefault.aspx/tabid-12766/22301_read-51485/
