Automotive enthusiast with experience as a mechanical engineer, motion control engineer, and feature function owner in the ADAS field. I have worked on old trucks as well as the newest cars. Besides studying MSc Robotics, I worked on projects involving computer vision, deep learning, and navigation of autonomous robots in the agricultural field using simulation environments and real-world data. Lastly, in my thesis, I'm using a computer vision approach to better localize an ADAS/autonomous vehicle. To build the feature map here, I used a monocular camera fused with GPS and lidar data.

    Sometimes, the regular vehicle GPS system fluctuates due to many reasons such as multipath, etc. Hence autonomous vehicle uses expense set up to overcome this issue. We are trying to get better localization results by just using the monocular camera along with the GPS. First, we are generating the feature map and then localize the vehicle based on the Map generated. By this, even the regular vehicle can have better localization.

    Worked on BMWix ADAS features(lane keeping Assist, lane change warning, and side collision warning). Maintaining communication between different stakeholders. Analyzing the ticket raised by BMW and internal drive using Carmen, Gremlin, Matlab, and Orcas. Communicate with the relevant teams if there is an issue. I am familiar with doors, Jira, and plastic. Updating PDD documents regularly. The documentation of KPIs and regression testing. attempted to write some requirements and link the SHRD to the PDD.

    Coding, tuning, and testing the steering and acceleration controllers(lane keeping and cruise control) for the truck, car, and golf kart. A variety of controllers were tested on the Carla simulator. Simulink was used to model the golf kart and tune the PID controller.
