I also maintain data backups, and customer archives, using three different tape library systems and software, write and maintain system and production automation using Perl, bash, tcsh, html, and other languages, as needed.

    Officially, my title was Computer Operator, and originally, it was indicative of my function. I operated the PDP-11's overnight, to perform ATEX system backups & database maintenance. Since 2004, I have administered a group of eleven servers, performing hardware, software and operating system installations, upgrades and configuration. I also provide systems analysis and shell scripting, and early morning desktop support. And I provide automated backup services for >2.5TB of critical data.
