As Volocopter's CFO, I was one of two MDs at Board level and member of the Senior Leadership Team. Had overall responsibility for financial strategy, led all fundraising activities (raised >USD 340m), built the Finance & Legal team from zero to over 25 people and with the team developed the Finance, Legal & Compliance functions to audited U.S. listing readiness within 3 years. As a team, we grew the valuation from USD 120 million to unicorn (well over USD one billion) in the latest Series D round.
