Establishing stem cell (hiPSC)-based predictive high-throughput organ toxicity platforms. Multiplexed Imaging, Imaging-based High Content Screening (HCS, Operetta), toxicity testing, microfluidics, organoids, customized cell medium (patent pending), assay development, optimizing drug transporter activity in vitro.

Head of in vivo lab (Drosophila). Focusing on protein degradation mechanisms and their impact on aging and protein aggregational diseases. Combining straight-forward mammalian cell culture (in vitro) assays with in vivo responses. Mentoring of bachelor,-master and PhD-students.
