Berufserfahrung von Robson Brzostek

  • Bis heute 5 Jahre und 2 Monate, seit Apr. 2019

    CAE Application Engineer Additive Manufacturing

    ESI Engineering System International GmbH

or method development of nonlinear numerical simulations to solve difficult problem for Additive Manufacturing process simulation. Collaborated for development of methodologies for management and analyses of large amounts of information in combination with uncertainty quantification and optimization studies. Performed structural design optimisation, thermal and process simulation, and structural simulation. Performed Micromodel simulations: Particles Spreading Modelling and Laser Melting.

  • 9 Monate, Aug. 2014 - Apr. 2015

    Researcher/ Ph.D. Student

    Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht

Responsible for the application of the F&DT design in RFSSW following European regulation. Performed stress analysis and developed a guideline for structural optimization. Performed hand calculation using numerical computing. Set-up FE models for SIFs and J-Integral. Performed damage tolerance analysis, crack propagation tests, and crack propagation calculations. Developed an innovative FE model for fatigue crack growth (XFEM). Developed process numerical models for FSW, FS and AM plasma transferred arc

  • 2 Jahre und 1 Monat, Juni 2012 - Juni 2014

    Project Manager

Lamef in partnership with PETROBRAS, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Coordinated project progress within the design team: project proposals, mechanical tests, presentation of results, technical reports, and certification documents. Design guidance and structural calculations for an end-fitting for flexible riser, performed detailed FE model and hand calculation. Elaborated and coordinated full-scale tests for the end-fitting. Investigated damage caused by fatigue in flexible risers and umbilical and developed an assessment procedure for remaining life.

  • 2 Jahre und 4 Monate, März 2010 - Juni 2012

    Lead Engineer

Lamef in partnership with PETROBRAS, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Conceived, designed, and prototyped a new-concept of bend stiffener for flexible risers. Elaborated calculation reports, performed mechanical tests, developed and calibrated hyperelastic FE models of polymer for structural optimization of bend stiffeners. Elaborated detailed technical and engineering specifications to ensure good balance between technology selection and project execution of bend stiffener.

  • 2 Jahre, Jan. 2010 - Dez. 2011

    Mechanical Engineer

    Lamef, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Performed mechanical tests (static and dynamic loading) of refill FSSW joints. Applied digital image correlation to describe local strain and local displacement .• Developed an explicit numerical model of crack propagation in refill FSSW joints.

  • 11 Monate, Feb. 2009 - Dez. 2009

    Internship

    Lamef, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Optimized structural designs to improve fatigue life based on CAE results. Conducted structural analysis, design verification and tests of various components.

  • 1 Jahr und 2 Monate, Jan. 2008 - Feb. 2009

    Internship/Junior Assistant Research

Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht Zentrum für Material- und Küstenforschung GmbH

Developed statistical analysis using DoE for aerospace application of refill FSSW process. Joint characterization (optical microscope, microhardness, etc.).

  • 3 Jahre, Jan. 2005 - Dez. 2007

    Internship

    Lamef, Porto Alegre, Brazil

Tamed with senior engineers to develop linear/non-linear FE models for stress analysis. Developed 3D assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings and engineering specifications.
