    Managing Director, CEO

    Ellexus Ltd

Ellexus is the I/O profiling company. In short, we are I/O profiling nerds with technology that can transform the performance of your compute cluster or cloud deployment. We take control of the way big compute accesses big data so you can be sure that your infrastructure is achieving the best performance possible. Ellexus doesn't just give you data about what your programs are doing; our tools include expertise on what is going wrong and how you can fix it. We can make every engineer an I/O expert.

  • 8 Monate, Mai 2010 - Dez. 2010

    Contract FPGA Engineer

    Commsonic

I designed an ISDB-T digital TV modulator for an FPGA platform.

  • 2009 - 2010

    FPGA Engineer

    Simba HPC

I implemented mathematical models on FPGAs in order to accellerate financial computation. I also designed the beamformer for a sonar, which is now used to detect blockages in oil tanks.

  • 2006 - 2009

    PhD Candidate

    University of Cambridge

I researched Network-on-Chip architectures for FPGAs, looking at redesigning the configurable interconnect at the gate level in order to better accommodate hard and soft networks. This involved writing a place-and-route program in order to test my new architectures.

  • 2005 - 2006

    Research Intern

    Intel Corp.

I designed a bit error rate tester for their optical network.
