Rüdiger Trojok

Ruediger Trojok, Diplom Biologist, worked as a researcher, book author, lecturer, technology consultant and biotech entrepreneur. At the startup center UnternehmerTUM GmbH, he was the founder of the synthetic biology innovation lab Bio.Kitchen and director of Molecular Assembly Venture Lab. He helped to incubate several successful startups in the area of life science and medtech. He also developed a test kit production and testing facility for Covid-19 based on the novel RT-LAMP method and deployed it at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Before, he wrote expert opinions as a consultant for the office for German Parliament on phage therapy and synthetic biology. At the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology he investigated on genome editing technologies on behalf of the German ministry of science and education (BMBF). Currently, he is cofounder and CEO of the phage biotech startup Medea Biopharma.
