Implemented a new factory from scratch in Nantong, China, in 2017 as the Project Leader of the new KEMET Jianghai Joint venture. Leading the Industrialization Team in project execution as planned and sponsoring the local Management team in the Krst years of production in Operations Management. Deep cut down operational and product costs with new processes and new equipment setup. Executed the company business plan during 2019 by transfer the production lines from Gränna, Sweden, to Évora, Portugal.

Project Leader of the implementation of the new technology of tantalum capacitors that EPCOS brought to the Évora factory. It is now able to produce 180 million capacitors per year with the polymer cathode throughout highly automation equipment with transfer handlings and solvent pipe-lines.

Manager of the Technical Engineering of the factory Backend. I coordinated the Assembly Engineers in all the issues concerning the production equipment, processes and maintenance. I was also the Project Leader of the implementation of the 5th. and 6th. line, actually in production. Starting with the development of the first production line, in the electronic components factory from Epcos in Heidenheim, Germany, have brought that line to Évora and further multiplication of the next 5 production lines.

I have coordinated the production areas of Terminal Connecting and Molding being responsible for - Production management. - Training of the production teams, 55 persons in Terminal Connecting and 26 in Molding. - Technical specifications definition of the process/equipment and contact with the suppliers. - Acceptance of the equipment for the 3 existing production lines and 2 planned. - Preventive maintenance and spare parts management. - Process improvements and equipment changes.

Manufacturing Engineer for the Stamping area with the following responsibilities: -Create and planning the process of new engineering changes for the stamping. -To give support to the Product Engineering in the Simultaneous Engineering meetings. -To install new equipment like new automations and tools. -Actualisation and archive of the tools drawings. -Member of the Kaisen team for the continuous improvement. -Member of the Face-lift team for the new VW Sharan, Ford Galaxy and SEAT Allambra

ngineering Changes Analyst in the logistics department of production control of Autoeuropa, a Ford Volkswagen joint venture to produce the Galaxy and Sharan models. Coordinating the suppliers, production and engineering, I had the responsibility to manage the implementation of engineering changes.

Production Engineer in Somafel, Lda., a train track construction company. I was responsible for the production, maintenance and quality of work of the heavy production equipment in the Portuguese railroad. Through a 10 people team and heavy production equipment I managed the contract with CP (Portuguese Railroad) making that the track was able to run again with trains at schedulled speed.
