Über mich

I am currently a post-market medical device reviewer working with the allegations team of the US Food and Drug Administration. My expertise includes market intelligence, food and drug law, quality control, and medical device development. In 2020, I received a PhD from the University of Florida in chemical engineering. During my graduate studies, I earned a pre-doctoral fellowship in the department of ophthalmology. I worked closely with the University of Florida College of Medicine exploring novel approaches for making drug delivery more efficient and compliant. My work on those projects led to two patent applications and 5 research papers. My academic background spans a myriad of the physical sciences, including biomedical engineering principles, formulation chemistry, materials science, and clinical ophthalmology.
