Ryan Maxwell

I have been the form tutor to the Year 1 and the Year 4 classes. I have taught the International Baccalaureate as well as the Swiss Matura as prescribed by the Canton of Grisons. I have been involved in delivering workshops for teachers, mentoring student teachers and delivering workshops for students during Community Weekends.

Teacher of History and Head of Pastoral Care and Discipline manager. Delivering challenging and well prepared lessons with a focus on enabling student growth. Additional teaching Personal, Health and Social Education and collaborating with parents to improve discipline practices in school and at home.

I delivered well planned out and executed lessons to mainly Romanian speaking ESL students. I taught the Cambridge IGCSE and was the jointly the Discipline Coordinator, taking particular interest in delivering PHSE content and dealing with behavioral issues.

I was the Head of House in the largest boarding house at College Du Leman. I was worked 'in loco parentis' to a group of 45 teenagers. I supported educational attainment through delivering tutoring sessions in History, Psychology and Geography. I attended regular training in 'parenting' and was supportive of delivering a dynamic and progressive boarding programme.
