In my role as Shift Lead, I undertake 60% of Shift Lead responsibilities while also managing 40% of SOC Analyst duties. Within this capacity, I am actively engaged in the following responsibilities: * Developing monthly, quarterly, and yearly schedules for SOC shifts. * Establishing and managing processes for SOC shifts, including task definition and adaptation, handover procedures, ticketing processes, and whitelisting procedures. * Planning and executing the initial phase of the training process for SOC Analysts starting from the onboarding, ensuring analysts are prepared for On Duty responsibilities. * Conducting daily standup meetings to facilitate communication and coordination among SOC team members. * Engaging directly in SOC shifts, contributing to the team's efforts and maintaining a hands-on approach to operations. * Performing backup shifts, handling escalations from SOC Analysts and ensuring effective incident processing.
