Ing. Shadi Zeinali

I am currently a Research Assistant and Ph.D. student at Kiel University, enthusiastically learning and finding solutions for new problems. My area of interest includes Civil Engineering, especially in the field of Geotechnical and Structural Engineering. Currently I'm studying Bio-cement stabilized soil behavior and have studied it's effect on concrete (Bio-concrete) in my Masters. I find materials' behavior fascinating and biocement as a great novel tool in boosting civil engineering materials' characteristics. I have learnt about Siesmic assessment of Masonry Railway Bridges & 3D finite element modeling in practice through a job opportunity before and while studying my Masters degree, which I am also greatful of having the chance of experiencing. A life of joyful learning & solving problems is not boring to me! :-)
