Carrying out Static Testing on design specification to thoroughly understand requirements specification and identifying critical areas of business risks. Generate Test Cases from design specification to reflect adequate coverage of business requirements in line with the acceptance criteria and meeting up with Business objectives. Write regression testing scripts and automate the functionalities to ensure defect fix do not affect other part of the application.
