Come rain or shine (and everything in between) I greet customers with a smile and supply their orders within the time frames that are promised. I utilise my customer service and commerciality skills, along with my planning and prioritising skills as I manage my shifts along side my studies and online language events I host with Duolingo.

I host a variety of online events to English language learners from all over the world! Duolingo Events are relaxed spaces for learners to practice a language together, make mistakes, and have fun. Fluent hosts find community and connection by encouraging learners to practice speaking with expert guidance. I am utilising my previous tutor and online deliver skills.

Key achievements: promoting products with an increase of 172%, selling an extra 1105 units, generating an additional £6,384 against 2017 figures. Retail contributes 20% of the total RHS income. In 2018 the RHS received over 400 volunteer applications, I was 1 of 100 successful volunteers to be selected.

Romsey, a registered as Fairtrade town. The group promoted Fairtrade and supported the town with its status. To participate in Fairtrade fortnight in 2012, I organised a Fairtrade event in the Romsey Abbey (first of it's kind) it consisted of a guest speaker, a fashion show and a show case of Fairtrade products, the event was a great success and we welcomed over over 200 spectators to the Romsey Abbey on the 28th February 2012.

Liaising with local businesses, local government, police, volunteers, the Chamber of Commerce to organise and deliver the annual event: carols in the market square, light switch on and late night shopping events. Key achievement: introducing the lantern parade to the town, bringing the community together and supporting Romsey Transition Towns. In workshops the community could attend to create lanterns to be lit and on a lantern procession around the town.

During my time as chair we managed to successfully lobbied Network Rail to adjust the date of a major road closure away from the Christmas period, organised a meeting between retailers and Tesco who proposed to build a supermarket on the Broadlands estate. Won an award at the Romsey show, showing casing the local businesses.
