Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) and VIVACOM, the leading telecommunications operator in Bulgaria, announced a five-year partnership focusing on end-to-end strategic transformation of VIVACOM’s fixed and mobile network throughout the country. VIVACOM is outsourcing end-to-end network operations to Alcatel-Lucent as of March 1, 2010. • I have joined ALU on June 1, 2010 on second stage of this outsourcing project.

• Leading the team for upgrade and maintainance of NGN and TDM switching networks in one of seven country regions. Department - Fixed Networks Operations. • Leading a SW upgrade of all BTC AXE10 Exchanges from Local 7.2 to Enabler 1.0 Classic autumn 2007. This includes pretesting in Ericsson Nikola Tesla Croatia (ETK), system acceptance testing, first upgrade of a live exchange and finding solutions for all problems with my ETK and BTC colleagues. • Participating in installation and maintenance of HUAWEI Mu

• Working as System Engineer for maintenance and upgrade of Digital Combined Exchange Ericsson AXE10 and participating in continuous digtalization of BTC network. • Investigating and solving problems with more than thirty analog signaling types, and their conversion to digital CAS with Signalling Analog to Digital Converters.

• Participating in implementation of Digital Overlay Network (DON) BTC project. The aim of the DON project was to not only upgrade but to expand the existing backbone, focusing on the development of the main digital trunks. The cost of the modernization project was estimated at USD 300 million. • We started from scratch digitalization of BTC switching network in our region.

• Participated in implementation of production line for 250MB 3.5" HDD (0.5" high) with max capacity of 50 000 units per month. • I worked in a "Class 100 Clean Room". My job was to decide which part of a HDD should be replaced, when it fails on production tests, in order to pass next time. We were only three Failure Analysis Engineers and managed to reach above 99% correct decisioning.

Took part in development of 350MB 5.25 inch HDD.
