I am a contractor (permanent) being employed by Portico who provides reception services, switchboard managment, meetingroom management and facilities managment to large corporate enterprises (i.e. banks, law firms, media companies). I was brought into the team at the Guardian Newspaper in Jan 09 to set up the services and team on location. I manage a team of 13 and we provide all above mentioned services to the Guardian's headquarters with 1700 members of staff.

We provided ground floor and executive floor reception and meeting room management including catering for very high profile functions attended by former politicians and leaders of large internationla corporations.
