Being part of the Compliance Team for Corpag Netherlands, and being the responsible local Compliance Officer for Corpag Spain and Singapore (and temporarily the UK) it falls within my responsibilities to: detect and report money laundering and terrorist financing risks; implement and manage the company’s compliance program; assess integrity risks and monitor the adherence of company and client operations; suspicious transaction reports; advice management; input for group compliance matters and procedures.

The education committee organizes and coordinates courses for professional education for the members of Holland Quaestor and the trust sector, offering relevant training opportunities in line with current developments. The aim of Holland Quaestor, the association of Dutch trust offices, is to improve the quality of services provided and and to promote the interests of its members.

Intership in Compliance: independent project within the topic of Transaction Monitoring The Dutch Central Bank (“De Nederlandsche Bank”, DNB) published new “Good Practices for Transaction Monitoring for Trust Offices” in 2017. It was my task to ensure that these new practices were sufficiently implemented in Corpag’s policies, procedures and also in the company's everyday operations.

Internship gaining insights into two departments of the BayWa AG Munich, Germany, the Corporate Compliance and the Corporate Legal Departments.

- Supporting the BMW Motorbike department in Freimann, Munich - Comuterising files and documents using the software for vehicles FAMOS - Organising and documenting in- and outgoing vehicles

- Student Research Assistant as part of a work placement through the University of Stirling - Demonstrating strong organisation skills and time management by conducting advanced research and completing a report helping fundraising for the CAB - Strengthening oral communication skills by conducting client interviews

- Summer Intership in a law office for Business law and International law - Proving strong written communication skills by drafting/maintaining legal papers and oral communication skills by contacting clients, courts and lawyers - Providing administrative support, including managing postal traffic, maintaining records and documents - Demonstrating advanced research skills by performing Database- and Internet Research

- Supporting the team for the annual Telephone Fundraising Campaign of the University of Stirling - Excellent communication skills demonstrated through the contact with Alumni and contributing to raise over £100,000 for the Stirling Fund

- Student Assistant in the Registrar's Office of the Department of the Protestant Church Bavaria - Showing organisational skills and structure through assessing and organizing documents/ files - Given responsibility to independently organise and renew the database and the Journal Publications and to carry out independent research

- Student Ambassador in the Computer Science Centre Law Department, LMU - Providing diverse IT support for the members of the Law faculty - Attaining valuable IT and teamwork skills through being part of a group developing a learning application

- Summer Internship at the Sheriff Court for civil matters in Munich - Supporting the assigned judge through administrative tasks which included organising files and carrying out file related research - Gaining valuable practical experiences by attending trials and additional debriefings

Master of Laws with "cum laude" Master's Thesis on "The Legal Benefits of Corporate Compliance Around the World": the main purpose of the thesis is to conduct a comparative analysis between different countries to ultimately establish a Good Practice for the criteria for a compliance program.
