Tiia Partanen

I am an Architectural Designer at Níall McLaughlin Architects in London, England. While I am originally from Oulu, Finland, I completed my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Architecture at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. My Masters design thesis won the 2021 RIBA Silver Medal, the RIAS Rowand Anderson Medal for the Best Fifth Year Project in Scotland, the RIAS Andy MacMillan Drawing Award, the 3D Reid Architecture Student Prize, and a few others. I am currently completing my Part 3 (ARB) qualification at the University of Westminster. Prior to my move to London, I worked with two mid-size Scottish architecture practices on projects ranging from the first vertical distillery in Scotland to sustainable housing masterplans in the Highlands. For the past year and a half at Níall McLaughlin Architects, I have been working on a student accommodation scheme in North Oxford, which has just begun construction.
