- Analysis and secure implementation of cryptographic primitives and mobile communication algorithms for embedded devices and Windows operated systems - Development of countermeasures against attacks on cryptographic primitives and their implementations (Side Channel and Fault Attacks)

Research in the field of symmectric encryption schemes with a focus on lightweight blockciphers for hardware and software

- Interdisciplinary research in the fields of coding theory and cryptography from a theoretical and application-oriented point of view - Organisation of workshops on cryptography at Nanyang Technological University

Administration and configuration of the IT infrastructure, including the network architecture and all IT systems (i.e. hardware and software). The daily work included Data and System backup and recovery controls, Antivirus/Firewall/Update/Account Management, implementation of System Defenses, as well the Homepage programming and its administration
