Within this role I provide my management expertise to lead organisational and technical developments within tool and mould design engineering. This covers bonding, machining, assembly and inspection and the milling of fibre-reinforced components. Additionally, I have managed the drawing compliant processing of the CFRP/GFRP components and tool completion and appointed as a technical tool specialist.

Based within the Engines and Nacelles business unit with overall accountability for the tool design engineering activities for the central team in the Pune office in India. Leading the development of the Engines and Nacelles business unit tool design activities, which included the implementation of standard processes and the transfer of mechanical engineering knowledge, including to the Pune office.

As the Lead Technical Design Engineer I was involved in the development of the A330neo Fan Cowl with a toll design budget of €4 million and a responsibility for all aspects of product GDT. During this time I was responsible for dimensional management which enabled a geometrical failure ratio below 1%. Central to the creation of the entire assembly strategy in the FACCs final assembly line of this product

During this time, I developed in collaboration with a smaller team the Catia standard tool design process which enabled a 50% reduction on average for the 3D design across the department. I was instrumental in the development of the transport and manipulation of tool design optimisation which resulted in a manufacturing cost reduction of 58%.

Design of various air conditioning system components and futher integration in air conditioning assemblies (Used construction program: Autodesk Inventor) Creation of test set ups of newly invented air condition systems. Testing of those systems, in order to ensure function and performance.

Independent performing of small projects under the foremens charge. Creation of small steel assemblies in the facility.

Participation in projects and independent steel material processing (cutting, sawing, drilling, reaming, welding, bending and punching) and further assembly operations within the facility and on the construction side.
