Responsible for setting up the data office for Europe and Africa (EA). Define the data strategy and roadmap to enable easy access to standardised data within a new data lake. Ensure sufficient data governance. Coordinate all data driven initiatives in EA and prioritise and support EA use cases to ensure an efficient usage of data science techniques and machine learning. Reduce human workload and increase data quality with intelligent automation by using robotic process automation within the EA region.

Define IT-Service-Management strategy, manage customer demands and the IT EMEA service portfolio. Ensure service orientation and complete service transparency for customers and the deployment of recent service contracts. Report to IT EMEA CIO. Train and coach IT EMEA staff and Key Account Managers. Ensure customer satisfaction in general and manage it for customers in APAC, Brazil, Germany, Russia, UK and USA.

Drive the transformation process to establish the IT-Service-Management. Train IT EMEA staff on Service Management, coordinate the Service Design processes, define the Service Catalogue, negotiate with customers, contract services and manage the offer review process. Ensure a good relationship and create value for customers in APAC, Brazil, Germany, Russia, UK and USA.

PMO implementation for IT EMEA. Rollout of a new IT EMEA project management methodology and a Project-, Program- and Portfolio-Management software for more than 100 project managers including resource capacity planning. Rollout of a new reporting environment for IT EMEA managers. Training and coaching of project managers and monthly review of the top projects and programs. Monthly portfolio status reporting to the IT EMEA management and quarterly KPI reporting of top programs to the Vallourec CIO & CFO.

Management of several studies, complete projects and a migration to a new software supplier and host (Sharepoint, EASY, Opentext and SAP). Creation of a requirement catalogue based on Customer interviews. Selection of a new Content Management Suite to cover Customer requirements. Consolidation of diverse systems to reduce run costs.

Management and deployment of several projects within the areas payables, receivables, inventory and sales from SAP source systems with corresponding ETL processes (Business Objects Data Integrator), several data marts (Oracle), universes (Business Objects) and standard reports (Desktop Intelligence).
